The Best Techniques Of Hair Transplantation For Males
Follicular Unit Excision (FUE) and Follicular Unit Transplant (FUT) are the two principal hair transplant methods. Both techniques are effective in hair restoration, with a high success rate. They are also beneficial in their own ways. However, there is a little difference between FUT and FUE hair transplant procedures.
The main difference is that in the FUT procedure, the surgeon extracts a strip of hair follicles from the donor area and individual follicular units are transferred to the hair loss area. But in the FUE procedure, individual hair follicles are extracted directly from the donor area and transplanted in the donor area.
In both the hair transplantation techniques, healthy hair grafts from your body are placed in the scalp areas affected by hair loss. Our surgeon at Best Hair Transplant centre will take great care of pre and post hair transplant surgery. Our surgical team uses state-of-art technology to reimplant the hair grafts.
FUT – Follicular Unit Transplant
This is also known as Strip Hair Transplantation where a strip of hair-bearing skin is taken from the scalp called donor area, usually from the back of your head. For more information about FUT procedure visit: FUE Hair Transplant: Is It Safe
FUE – Follicular Unit Excision
In this procedure, your scalp is shaved near the donor area and follicular unit grafts are extracted individually, using a punching with 0.8mm to 1mm ‘punch’.
The procedure can be performed manually or by a motorised surgical tool. For more information about FUE procedure visit: FUE Hair Transplant: Treatment, Procedure, Cost, Recovery, Results
